Silks Level 1 or Mixed Level Silks would be perfect for you!
What should I wear to class?
Leggings that are long enough to cover your knees are highly recommended, as silks can cause fabric burn, along with a sports top.
I don't have any upper body strength. Would I have any success in an aerial silks class?
YES! This is a common concern we hear, but you do not need any upper body strength to begin. We regularly have students who begin believing they will struggle until they have build up some strength, but they're always amazed by what they accomplish on Day 1 and how quickly their strength builds each class!
I think I'm too old to start aerial silks. What is the minimum and maximum age to take an aerial silks class?
16+ are welcome! You are NOT too old! There is no maximum age to take an aerial silks class.
We offer a regular youth series for kids between the ages of 9 to 15.
I think I'm too heavy for aerial silks. Is there a maximum weight to take an aerial silks class?
NO! We welcome all body types and weights to our studio. Our instructors have experience modifying moves as needed while you build strength.
I'm afraid of heights. Will that prevent me from doing certain moves?
You'll be surprised to hear that 2 of our instructors are afraid of heights! As your confidence builds, the height isn't as noticeable as you would imagine. You're never forced to go higher than your ready to go, and I'll feel magical when you realize what you can do without your fear being triggered.
Are your classes only for women or can men join, too?
Many aerial silks performers are men, so please don't hesitate to join in!
Why is Aerial Silks a good workout to add into my schedule?
Aerial Silks is an excellent exercise for building strength, gaining flexibility, and mental stimulation through exploring your creativity!
I signed up for class, but now I need to cancel. Will I be charged a cancellation fee?
Please cancel at least one hour before the start of class. We do not currently have a cancellation fee, but we will consider implementing one if it appears to be necessary to give students the opportunity to sign up for class.
