Lindsay began aerial silks in 2017. She has always been fascinated with aerial arts and the grace, strength and adrenaline that it involves. She has received her aerial silks teacher training at The Circus Arts Institute in Atlanta, GA. Her favorite part of teaching aerial is watching students progress and learn new skills while build strength and confidence. |
Katie LambertMeet Katie - Our Mixed Level Aerial Silks and mixed apparatus instructor.
Katie embarked on her aerial journey in March 2023 at The Aerial Annex, where she developed a passion for the art of using her body and enhancing strength and flexibility. As a Systems Endpoint Engineer, she dedicates her leisure time to updating computer systems and crafting Intune for her job. Outside of work and aerial, Katie enjoys socializing with friends, engaging in physical activity, practicing yoga, and exploring new ways to enhance her aerial progress. Katie has gone through a teacher training program with Paper Doll Militia for Level 1 Aerial Silks and would love to share what she learned. She hope to see you in class! |
Sunny ClarkMeet Sunny - Our Level 1 Silks, Aerial Yoga, and Performance Development Instructor!
Sunny started her aerial journey in March 2022 and quickly found a deep love for performing, along with the confidence and strength to do things she never thought possible. Now, she's excited to help others discover that same empowerment through movement. Outside the studio, Sunny works as a graphic designer in Muncie and spends her free time with her pug-chihuahua and her partner Justin- who she even convinced to take her class! Her teaching style is all about encouragement, trying new things and having fun. |
Nikki HendricksonMeet Nikki - Our Aerial Yoga(ish) - Hammock and Sling instructor.
Nikki took her first aerial class in 2019 (aerial yoga). She found it helpful with balance, gaining flexibility, and building strength. She eventually started playing on the Aerial sling, silks, and lyra. Nikki's husband, Dave, both love time outdoors and doing things like camping, hiking, and enjoying a good campfire! Nikki is an entomologist who enjoys all things "bugs." Nikki's job, when she's not at the Aerial Annex, is in turf and ornamental sales. She's been on lots of industry association boards and is the VP of the Women of the Green Industry Association now! |
Audra KoontzMeet Audra - Our Bungee Fitness instructor.
A full-time paralegal by day for a small law firm in Muncie, Audra wears many other hats; disciple, mother, advocate, volunteer, aerialist and fitness fanatic (just to name a few). Audra has taught a variety of fitness platforms since 2011; dance fitness, REFIT, than venturing into strength training with barbell and intervals. Audra began her aerial journey in late 2020 after COVID struck and she assisted her daughter in erecting a circus rig for the backyard. She began teaching bungee but has enjoyed dabbling in the air on the silks, sling, and lyra. Audra is beyond excited to teach bungee in her home town. Her objective is to be a little better today than she was yesterday at whatever she puts her hands to. |
Laila Buck-AdamsMeet Laila - Our Lyra instructor.
Laila started her journey on silks in November 2024, but Lyra claimed her from her very first performance. With over a year in the air, she's drawn to hoop's raw strength, circular momentum, and the way it demands both control and surrender. Off the apparatus, she works in nursing - leading home care teams and moving through the intensity of Labor & Delivery unit. She can't wait to show her students they are capable of more than they think! |
